Dr. Didi says he was boycotted for working for reform within govt
Former President of opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) and Fisheries Minister of former President Mohamed Nasheed's regime , Dr. Ibrahim Didi has said that he was boycotted and alienated when he worked for reform within Nasheed's administration.
Dr. Didi made this remark speaking at the weekly meeting of Jumhooree Party. He said that the daily records of the former government will show the efforts he made to reform the government from within.
In addition to this Dr. Didi said that the door to door campaign initiated by the Jumhooree Party is an important campaign and therefore he hopes to further strengthen this campaign. He said that he is ready to actively participate in the campaigns.
Dr. Didi said that the leader of Jumhooree Party, Gasim Ibrahim has never shown any "evilness" to anyone. He said that Gasim is a generous philanthropist who helps the people in every way he can.
"Therefore, everyone who is just and balanced will support him. It is important to make the people aware of the policies of Gasim through this door to door campaign," he said.
