President Dr. Waheed is the most capable presidential candidate- Sarangu

President Dr. Mohamed Waheed’s Special Advisor, Sarangu Adam Manik has said that Dr. Waheed is the most capable and competent presidential candidate.

Speaking on a program aired by DhiTV, Adam Manik said that the people should take heed of a people who wants to make the presidency a family heritage. “What we are seeing is that after leaving presidency a person is trying to make the presidential post his family heritage,” he said.

Adam Manik said that there is no need to work to make a big coalition and that President Dr. Waheed should continue his campaign without a coalition.

“As for Nasheed’s trial I do not think it will end any time soon. If Nasheed is given a chance I think Nasheed will be faced by Dr. Waheed in the second round of the election,” he said.

In view of the Political Party bill, Adam Manik said that it was an attempt to destroy the political future of President Dr. Waheed. “Although everything is not resolved all together, the dollar crisis is also being gradually resolved. Dollar is now available then before,” he added.

Adam Manik said that Maldives have been in a very unstable condition since the tsunami of 2004 but in the past year President Dr. Waheed with his tireless efforts have established security in the country.

Furthermore, Adam Manik refuted the claims of PPM Presidential Primary candidate Abdullah Yameen for his claim that the goverment has failed. He said that Yameen is only accusing himself of this supposed failure as more than half of the government is represented by Yameen’s party.
