Gasim pledges to develop Maldives as he developed his own business

Leader and presidential candidate of Jumhooree Party, MP for Maamigili constituency Gasim Ibrahim has pledged to develop the Maldivian nation as he developed his own business if he is elected as the President in the upcoming Presidential Election.

Gasim made this pledge speaking at his campaign rally entitled “Prosperity, for a surety” held at Handhunmathi Gan on Friday night.

Gasim said that he started his business venture in a very ordinary fashion and he became one of the most successful businessmen in the Maldives through hard work and with the bounty of Allah. He said that he would work in the same zealousness and fervor to develop the country to a new level if he is elected as the next President of Maldives.

Gasim said that the secret behind his success is honesty and truthfulness. He said that he has never betrayed anyone or violated the rights of anyone. He said that it is his nature to help people and benefit them.

In addition to this Gasim noted the many challenges faced by the country today. He said that the tourism industry is in a very appalling condition. He said that this is worrisome as the tourism industry is the main source of income to the country. He said that these issues of grave concern are happening today because of the irresponsible and reckless actions of some people who want destroy the nationhood of Maldives.

Gasim said that these problems faced by the country today can only be tackled by a honest and sincere person elected by the people to rule the country. He said that it is for this reason that he decided to contest in the upcoming presidential election. He said that his main purpose is to bring happiness and prosperity to the people.
