New academic year resolution is to improve academic standards- Dr. Asim

Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed Asim has said that the new academic year resolution is to improve the academic standard and to focum on improving the technical capabilities of teachers and to provide schools with modern educational means.

Dr. Asim made this remark in his address on the occasion of the beginning of a new academic year.

The Minister said that the main objective of the education ministry for this academic new year is to improve the standard of education, increase teachers’ expertise, and develop the tools used for teaching in schools.

Addressing the parents, Dr. Asim urged them to continue with the respect they show to the teachers who nurture their children and educate them. He said that he sincerely asks them to continue cooperating with the teachers in their efforts to educate their children.  Dr. Asim said that it is the parents who teach the children to take responsibilities.

Minister urged the students and schools to work hard to improve the standard of education and thus bring better results.
