Umar Attacks Yamin: In my govt corruption will be eradicated

Interim Vice President of the Progressive Party of Maldives, PPM, Umar Naseer has said that if he is elected as the President on the upcoming election he will eradicate corruption from its root.

Umar Naseer noted that corruption is so rampant in the country today that the future of the nation is on the verge of destruction. He said that this imminent threat to the nationality of the country should be resolved immediately by all means necessary.

Moreover, he said that he will cut off all the opportunities and chances for those who are involved in corruption. He said that the issue of corruption cannot be solved except by rectifying the government and eradicating corruption from within.

Umar Naseer said that the country will never prosper except by closing all doors to corruption. Speaking on the reason why should be elected as the President of Maldives, Umar Naseer said that he should be elected to eradicate corruption and to establish peace and stability in the country.

“I should be elected to govern and rule the country with truthfulness and sincerely,” he said.
