Political Leaders  will not be with you on the Day of judgement -  VP Waheed uddeen

Vice President Mohamed Waheed uddeen has said that we are in this destination for a short period and we have to face the day of judgement and on that day no political leaders will be with us. Speaking at the ceremony held to inaugurate the 5th meeting of SAARC Ministers of Interior and Home,  Waheed Deen called upon on everybody to work together to build the nation. He also said we are one and we are Maldivians.

Waheed Deen said we belong to one family, we lived like one family and all are friends. Introduction of political parties should not divide us, he said. He said till yesterday we lived as brothers and sisters, , we loved and cared for each other and that today, we do not even recognize our friends. He said, on judgement  day we will not stay near to political leaders and so, we should work on building the country.

Vice President said we belong to one family and because of this there shouldn’t be any division among us. Highlighting on effective  changes on economic and social environment of the SAARC region  Waheed Deen  said that it is very important that all of us respect each other and their beliefs, faiths and differences in cultures. He also said that SAARC members doesn’t interfere with others internal affairs and because of this there is trust among the member countries.

Vice President said that every nation will progress and can achieve the developments by respecting each other and respecting human rights.

Waheed Deen said he hoped solutions will be acahieved  for the issues discussed in the meeting . The issues include problems on pirates in Maldivian waters, smuggling of drugs, human trafficking and terrorism.
