Solving of the problems will arise due to the delay of GMR report – Abbas

Press Secretary   Mr.Abbas Adil Riza has said that due to the delay of the Report from Anti corruption on GMR case will create problems to the work being carried out by the government. He said Anti Corruption Commission was to release the report on the 15^th of this month. And still they haven’t done with the report which is a concerning thing, Abbas said.  He said if ACC  had released the report on 15^th , then it would be very easy for the government to take a decision on GMR.

Press Secretary said on 2010, the airport was given to GMR. And from that time case against GMR was handed to ACC, but yet ACC has done nothing  about the case is making government very much concerned about it.  He said a big asset like the airport has been given making way for corruption. And  if a government institution like ACC doesn’t carry out its work properly, a big loss of more than millions will arise.

He also said a system which stops such cases should be established as soon as possible.

GMR denies such claims on corruption and said they got the project by taking part in the bidding and processes.
