Qasim is ready to work for the development  of women – Dr.Didi

President of Jumhooree party Dr. Ibrahim Didi has said that the Chairman of JP is ready to help in the all ways to improve the development of women in the country.  While speaking at a meeting to activate the women’s league of JP, Dr. Didi said JP is a  party which always gives priority to improve the well being and  progress of women of the country. 

At the meeting held at Sun Island resort  and Spa , this weekend  Dr. Didi said  the party’s focus is to start the activities of women’s  league in all the atolls of Maldives. And he said there was a halt of the activities of JP’s women’s league but from now itself it will become activated in an orderly manner.

Appreciating  the work done by the participants of the workshop Dr. Didi  said the aim of the party is not only of having political activities, it also wants progress and development for its members.  He also said when the league becomes recognized as a legal body of the party, full support of the party’s council will be given to the league.

During the two day workshop members decided to appoint a temporary committee to handle the works of the league . Members also decided to vote on 19^th January to appoint  a permanent committee to handle the league.

30 women members of the party participated in the workshop. Senior members of the party viewed the work done by the participants on Friday.
