Education brought up by muslim scholars have to be brought
back again – Shaheem
Minister of Islamic Affairs, Sheik Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has said that education and work brought up by muslim scholars have to be brought back again. He said this while speaking at the ceremony to hand over students who got scholarships from the Zakaath fund and from government’s revolving scheme . 489 got the scholarships from Zakaath fund and 1000 students got scholarships from the help of government loan fund.
Highlighting the work done by muslim scholars, Sheik Shaheem said that the world is created upon on 4 pillars. He said the first one is the wisdom of the scholars, the second is justice of the leaders, third one is the prayers of the true believers and the last pillar is the people with strong attitudes. He said this is a written in the Universities of Andalus when there was muslim power in that area.
Looking into the most famous medical expert in the Islamic medical institution was Al-Raazee and he had written more than 200 books about diseases and its cures and still today many of the medical instituitions are using his findings on diseases. He also said the first doctor who made tablets for medicines were Al Zahraavee who was from the University of Andalus. And also many of the Europeans are using the first books written by muslim geographical experts.
Sheik Shaheem said that muslim scholars found 12 new introductions. He said some of them included how blood is circulated around the body, how numbness is made, introduction of optical glasses, compass, guns, algebra, camera and paper production.
He said muslims were so successful on those days and now muslims are vulnerable because they had mishandled the education brought up by their elders and had been divided among several issues.
