Shouldn’t  stand still  when the situation is like this – Qasim

Leader of JUmhooree party Mr.Qasim Ibrahim has said that we shouldn’t stand still when the crime rate is getting high and when murdering is getting common in the country. Speaking to the youths of Machangolhi who joined Juhooree party recently, Qasim said it is indeed very sad that now we Maldivians are facing what we haven’t faced in the entire history of the country. He also said that it is compulsory for every citizen of the country to join in the work of establishing peace in the country and it is very important to participate the youths of the country in this work.

Qasim said in every country the youths of the country play  a very important role and also in placing the political parties in the right path, youths play a vital role, he said. And he urged all the members and youths of his party to serve the country in various ways.

At the signing ceremony of Machangolhi youths to JP, the new members expressed their concerns they are facing to Qasim and the leaders of the party.

After concluding his visit to Europe, Qasim said that the crime rate in the country will be reduced by giving the appropriate punishment for the wrongdoers. And he said in giving punishment, no one should be excluded.
