MDP proposes to hide votees while taking on no confidence vote.

MDP proposes to the majlis to hide votes while taking no confidence votes, except President and Vice President of Majlis.  Fisrt this reform was submitted to the majlis by Kudahuvadhoo constituency member Ahmed Amir. But because some of the members and people from his constituency requested to take back the reform he took it back. This time Ibrahim Shifaz from MDP who is Baa rashu constituency member submitted the reform to the majlis . He said he submitted this reform to the General Committee on last Wednesday and his purpose of submitting it was to get more security to the majlis members.

According to Gemanafushi constituency member Ilham Ahmed, MDP’s intention of submitting this reform is to waste the time of Maljis and to convert the attention to other area. Ilham said MDP knows that they cannot get success in removing the President via the no confidence motion against Dr.Waheed. And if they get success in removing a minister through no confidence vote, they will submit no confidence motion against all the minister, one by one later.

Ilham said on the day of taking no confidence vote against President Waheed, all will get to know the supporters of member Shifaz. And members who support to his reform,  will be members who will support the no confidence motion against President Waheed.
