Defence Minister meets with Aviation Security Command personnel

Minister of Defence and National Security Colonel (Retd) Mohamed Nazim has met with Aviation Security Command personnel from Ibrahim Nasir International Airport. The Aviation Security Command is one of the three components functioning under the mandate of the Ministry of Defence and National Security.

Thursdays meeting was held to discuss the changes to be brought about at the Aviation Security Command. Speaking at the meeting Minister Nazim called on the aviation security personnel to be honest and sincere in their work and to refrain from associating with politics on their official duties and to be professional and diligent. The Minister also inspected the work being done by the  Command.

The Minister was joined by Aviation Security Commander Colonel Mohamed Ziyad and Deputy Commander First Lieutenant Ahmed Shafeeg at the meeting. While at the airport the Minister also met with pilgrims leaving for Hajj yesterday.
