Reethi Beach Resort goes for and wins the gold in sustainability
For several years now, Reethi Beach Resort (RBR) has been consciously pursuing environment-friendly actions and policies, but as is usual with all good things, it took a long time for these actions and their results to be noticed by the world outside. But noticed it has certainly been. Reethi Beach Resort proudly announced that Travelife has awarded RBR its “Travelife Gold status” acknowledging that it has met Travelife’s strict sustainability criteria in managing social and environmental issues in a sustainable way.
Enhancing this achievement, is a simultaneous receipt of the highest possible ranking of “5 leaves” from the “5 Leaves System” based in Madrid, for RBR’s environmental sustainability efforts.
Importantly, on the service front, Reethi Beach Resort has also won Holidaycheck’s “Best 99 Hotels of the World” and Tripadvisor’s “Certificate of Excellence.” This proves beyond a doubt that superior service experience is not in conflict with criterion for sustainability, as long as a conscientious effort is made to keep the environment as a non-negotiable priority.
The staff at Reethi Beach Resort believes its environmentally-friendly actions, coupled with good value for money and excellent guest service, are giving them record occupancies and record repeaters. So far this year, the total number of repeat clients has reached almost one-third of all its guests.
