Maldives is a paradise for investors: Abbas
Press Secretary Abbas Adil Riza has said that the Maldives still remains a paradise for investors and it is from the main goals of President Dr. Mohamed Waheed to preserve this status of the country to the current investors and also to potential future investors.
Abbas said that Maldives is also an income tax and corporate tax haven. “With the world economic crisis there is an effect on all investments. In this regard the President very well understands the burden for the investors if a large amount is taken as tax. President Dr. Waheed has made all policies easier on the investors,” he said.
