Sheikh Ilyas urges all to stay away from Islamophobes

Sheikh Ilyas Hussein has urged the people to stay away from Islamophobes and people who mock and ridicule Islam and Muslims.

In a public lecture held at Carnival stage of the capital Male’, Sheikh Ilyas said that it is a fundamental principle of Islam to abandon the people who spread hatred against Islam and Muslims.

Explaining the importance of establishing the Shariah penalties the charismatic Sheikh said that if the conditions stipulated in the Quran and Sunnah are fulfilled it is an obligation upon the ruler to establish the Shariah penalty upon the offender.  He said that no one has the right to challenge these penalties and to reject them. He said that the person who rejects the Islamic prescribed penalties for crimes then it is as if that person has rejected Allah.

Sheikh Ilyas stressed that it is only the enemies of Islam who refuse to implement these penalties and challenge them. He said that the people who befriend such people will suffer in the world and in the hereafter.

The Sheikh said that it is incumbent upon all of mankind today to do righteous deeds. He added that tomorrow will be the day of recompense.

He said admonished the Muslim brethren to hold on to the authentic Islamic creed and not divide themselves into schisms.
