British High Commissioner to Maldives, John Rankin has stated that the UK’s shared goal is for stability, peace and democracy for the Maldives people.

High Commissioner Rankin made this remark in the eleventh video in the ‘Ask the High Commissioner’ series published by the British High Commission, Colombo (BHC) on Thursday, 23 August, 2012.

The High Commissioner said that the UK follows the events in the Maldives closely and that he and his team visits Maldives on a regular basis.
