Dr. Mauroof accuse MAAS of trying to brainwash Fuvahmulah students
Speaking at VTV Fasmanzaru program, Dr. Mauroof said that the association tried to feed the students into believing that God does not exist and that humans are the descendants of apes. He said that some of the students challenged the pseudo-science group saying that Humans are descendants of Adam as is revealed by the last Revelation of God. He said that the group then claimed that there are many similarities between the skeletal structure of humans and apes and that this shows that humans were evolved from apes.
Dr. Mauroof also said that the group claimed to the students that they do not believe in programs that speak about the evidences for the existence of God.
The Deputy President of Adhaalath urged the people to examine such groups who volunteer to hold such seminars in the island schools.
Furthermore, Dr. Mauroof said that the parents of the students reported the case to Maldives Police Service but however there is no information regarding whether the case is being investigated or not.
Police media coordinator informed that the Police have received many complains regarding the association and would investigate the matter.
Miadhu Daily was informed that the association consists of a group of apostates who have shunned Islam and the belief in the existence of God. According to reports associates of this group are known for their call to hedonism and homosexuality.
