Losing Majlis majority is not a problem- Yaameen
Losing majlis majority is no problem, not getting a women to marry is no problem, having no food is no problem, then what is a problem,..Why Yamin’s PA did coalition with DRP to win Majlis Majority?? Isn’t Yamin political fool…or is he the fox who jumped at the grapes, when failed to reach it who said those grapes are sour??
Mulaku MP Abdullah Yaameen has said that losing the majority in the Peoples’ Majlis is not a problem.
Speaking at the public rally held by Former President Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom’s faction of the main opposition Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party (DRP), Mulaku MP and opposition Peoples’ Alliance Leader Abdullah Yaameen said that although he has formed a coalition with DRP in the Majlis, it has been sometime that he has been working alone.
“It is not only the problem of losing the majority that we are facing today. Although in the Majlis we are apparently in one boat, our boat has been sailing side ways for sometime. So this is not a problem,” he said.
Yaameen said that it is distressing that Thoddoo MP Ali Waheed switched to ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (DRP) after claiming that the Founding Leader Gayyoom has destroyed DRP.
“I’d like to believe that every single member that the main opposition DRP loses is some one who is valuable for us. We have to believe that who we lose is valuable. This brings distress to our hearts,” he said.
“There will come a time when those who jumped off from one ship will jump off from the other. So it is upon to be patient. It is upon us to be patient. Even if it rains we will…,” he stopped at this and left the podium when it started to rain last night.
In last night’s rally, Vaikaradhoo MP Ali Arif and Villimaafannu MP Ahmed Nihan Hussein Manik criticized Thoddoo MP Ali Waheed for leaving DRP.
