Islamic Ummah will not stay silent in the face of falsehood- Shaheem
Former State Minister of Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has said that the Islamic Ummah will not stay silent in the face of falsehood.
Speaking at the function held at Masjidul Furgan to commemorate the Palestinian day of mourning known as the Yawm al-Nakba (day of catastrophe) in a show of Muslim solidarity, Shaheem said that it is an individual obligation upon every single Muslim to speak the truth in the face of falsehood.
Shaheem said that Muslims cannot afford to maintain silence in this situation where the enemies of Islam are torturing and humiliating our Muslim brethren every single moment. He said that the future is for Islam.
Shaheem said that although the Muslim nation is today divided, there will come a day when all Muslims will unite upon the correct methodology and strive together to achieve victory for the Muslim nation.
A congregational supplication was read out by Shaheem after the Morning prayer at Masjdul Furgan.
Meanwhile, every year Palestinians commemorate what they call "Nakba Day", when an estimated 700,000 Palestinians fled or were expelled following Israel's 1948 declaration of statehood.
