Zionist-DRP soon to announce their Presidential candidate

Former President of Maldives, Dictator Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom’s faction of the main opposition Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party (DRP), who now work under the name ‘Zionist-DRP’ has revealed that the faction will soon announce their Presidential candidate for the 2013 Presidential election.

Speaking at a news conference, the self acclaimed interim President of the faction, Umar Naseer said that Z-DRP is now holding discussions to form their own Council and Parliamentary Group. He said that the Presidential candidate will be appointed in a primary in next year’s congress.

Umar Naseer, who was dismissed from DRP, said that Z-DRP will be also holding a meeting of DRP council members who support the ideology of the faction. He said that in this meeting the Parliamentary Group of the faction will be formed and the group’s leader will be announced.

The interim President of Z-DRP also announced that the advisory committee of the faction was formed in a council meeting held at Nasandhura.

“With the winning of the 2013 Presidential Election, the public will come to know of the real DRP,” he said.

Furthermore, Umar Naseer asserted that the members registered to DRP support the cause of Z-DRP and will be registering in the registrar of the faction.
