Component 2 of Training of Trainers & Int. Benchmarking completed

A Briefing Session was held with Minister of State for Education, Dr. Ahmed Ali Manik, after completion of Component 2 of Training of Trainers & International Benchmarking: Curriculum Leadership and Competency Based Training Project by Maldives Qualification Authority (MQA) on 15th March 2011 (Tuesday) at 15:00 at Ministry of Education.

Ministry of Education informed that the “Capacity Building on Competency-Based and Industry Training and Educational Leadership for Effective Implementation of the Maldives National Qualifications Framework” is a one year project sponsored by AusAID Public Sector Linkages Program with Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane, Australia).

The main recipient of this programme is Maldives Qualifications Authority. Education Ministry said that the main aim of this programme is to improve and enhance the quality of vocational and higher education through assessment and approval of competency based curriculum and quality audit of the institutions.
