7 Quran memorizers awarded with certificates

Seven Quran memorizers yesterday were awarded certificates for Quranic Memorisation. One of the memorizers was 11 years old and the other 17 years of age.

Those awarded with certificates for their Quranic memorization were: Fuahmulah Sosunvilla Mariyam Ibrahim Didi; Fuahmulah Maahuge Aishath Fahmy; Shaviyani Foakaidhoo Maavaage Mohamed Shareef; Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhufushi Rabeeu Ali Amjad; Dhaalu KudaHuvadhoo Shabnameege Mohamed Firzul Abdullah Khaleel; and Alif Alif Thoddoo Finiwaage Adham Mishgal Shaamin.

President Mohamed Nasheed presented the prestigious awards and certificates to the seven individuals who committed the Quran in its entirety to memory.

In his speech yesterday, the President congratulated all the winners in this year’s competition and individuals who memorized the entire Quran.
