Naseem requests not to make critical remarks on neighbouring countries

Foreign Minister Mr  Ahmed Naseem has requested all institutions of the country to not make any critical remarks on any of our neighbouring countries.

In a press conference held yesterday at the Foreign ministry, Naseem said that if we are making critical remarks about our neighbourhoods it will only affect our people who are living in those countries.

Naseem said said that not to that if we are doing these things then our people who are living in those countries will suffer the consequences.

Miadhu Daily understands that the country is now facing some problems as a result of the derogatory remarks made by ViliMaafannu MP Ahmed Nihan saying that ‘India is country where a person can be killed at the cost of only 20 Laari or 500Ruffiyah.’ The MP said this criticising the bill proposed by Thimarafushi MP Musthafa to investigate the alleged 800 million dollar racket involving Former President Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom and his half brother Abdullah Yaameen.
