Legal action will be taken against those responsible for spreading news about Airport Alarm Project- Alarms
Alarms Private Limited owned by the dismissed Deputy Leader of the main opposition Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party (DRP), Umar Naseer has said that the company will take legal action against those responsible for spreading news that the company won the Airport Fire Alarm Project of the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport terminals.
In a press release issued by the company of Umar Naseer, Alarms Pte Ltd said that the news that was spread in the media that the Airport Fire Alarm Project of the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport was won by the company is false and untrue.
The company said that “work is in progress to file legal action in Maldives Broadcasting Commission against those responsible for spreading this false news.”
Alarms Pte Ltd said that up until no agreements have been signed or discussed with the Indian management of the airport, GMR Infrastructure.
Umar Naseer’s company, Alarms said that “it is saddening that this news was spread in the media including MNBC One and HaveeruDaily.”
Alarms Pte Ltd is a local fire safety and security services. According to the website of the company, Alarms“is a voting member of NFPA (National Fire Protection Association, American Standard) and is also approved and certified by the government of Maldives to conduct trainings and service equipment related to fire services.”
