Worship is everything that Allah loves and is pleased with- Dr Majeed
-Obedience to Allaah brings provision

Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdul Bari has said that every speech and action, both inward and outward, that Allah loves and is pleased with is worship.

Speaking at the special ceremony held yesterday evening at the hall of the Islamic Centre to revive the nights of the blessed month of Ramadan, Dr. Majeed said that if a person commits an act in disobedience to Allah such a person will be punished. He said that if the person does the act in obedience to Allah that person will be rewarded.

Citing examples, the Minister said that sex out of wedlock is forbidden in the religion and the one who commits the act will be considered a sinner and an indecent person. However, he said that if a man and a woman have sex after marriage, then they will be rewarded.

Dr. Majeed said that fearing and obeying Allah brings provision. He said that it is Allah who provides provision. He said that Allah has revealed in the Quran an ayah which means, “Whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).”

Dr. Majeed said that when Saudi was found as a state it was poor but Allah granted it so many provisions because the state was established upon the correct creed. He said that still the Saudi state is implementing the Shariah of Allah although the state is not perfect from every single aspect.
