Self-proclaimed prophet, Maqbul Hussein in Maldives


The website ‘Raajjeislam’ yesterday reported that a self-proclaimed prophet, Maqbul Hussein from United Kingdom has visited Maldives.

According to the Raajjeislam, Maqbul Hussein, who is from Pakistani desent, was invited by a group of Maldivian apostates who have been deluded into believing his prophethood. The website said that he is living in a house located at Fareedhee Magu near Monalas shop.

Raajjeislam website said that the man leading the cult is a corporal working in MNDF who goes by the name Amir. The website said that they have been informed that Ameer and his family will be leaving to pilgrimage with Maqbul to Sri Lanka tomorrow. The website informed that according to this cult, Mekka is now infiltrated by polytheists so pilgrimage will not be accepted there. Raajjeislam said that the followers of the imposter from UK, Maqbul perform their pilgrimage at the Adam’s peak in Sri Lanka.

Raajjeislam website also said that the President’s Office, Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Maldives Police Service and other related authorities have been informed regarding the matter.

Miadhu Daily was informed that Ameer and his cult have been performing the Friday prayer and other daily prayers in their own congregation in the house located near Monalas. According to reports, this cult believes that those who follow the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad are polytheists.

Meanwhile, recently Maldives has been visited by pseudo-religious scholars and callers, through whom waves and waves of assaults are maintained against Islamic faith, and against monotheism, and against the morality that is based upon Quran and the Sunnah, with the aim to desecrate the foundations of Islamic faith shared by the people of Maldives. 

According to Islamic orthodox scholars, the Prophet of Islam warned that there would be many false-prophets in the later times. The traditions say that such liars and imposters claim divinity or prophethood, and preach a religion other than that preached by the Prophets and Messengers of Allah.
