Zinédine Zidane has always set himself
ambitious goals which, at the time,
seemed unrealistic. However, one
World Cup, one Golden Ball award and
one European championship later, he has
reached his goals thanks to his willpower,
commitment and sense of teamwork.

Lifting 1.4 billion people from extreme
poverty by 2015 and assuring each and
everyone access to education and health
are the new challenges that Zinédine intends
to take up by encouraging governments
and citizens to achieve the 8 Millennium
Development Goals.

As a UNDP Goodwill Ambassador, Zinédine
Zidane encourages you to join his team and

The Millennium Development Goals were
adopted in 2000 and are to be achieved
by 2015 :

malaria and other diseases
